What is this?

It's a web server! For your Zune! Web servers hosts and serve websites like this one to your browser.

What can I do with it?

Host a website! You shouldn't expect to host the next facebook on your Zune and there isn't the vast flexibility you find in Apache but, it can serve any static content you wish. If you want you can even point your web root at /Flash2/Content and access the music on your Zune from your computer!

Will this run on any Zune?

With version 1, WebZerver only runs on the ZuneHD, however it should be relatively simple to port it to the SD Zune and Version 2 will include SD Zune support.

When will version 2 be released?

No idea!

Why a Webserver?

I saw CodePug's Web Server and remembered reading about people running their Dreamcast as a web server (a relatively simple task once you have NetBSD on it) and thought "how awesome would it be if the Zune could run a REAL web server?" And thanks to OpenZDK, that's possible! So I did it!

Why call it WebZerver?

Well, it's a Zune Web Server, so "WebZerver." Get it? Yah, it's sorta lame but it was the first thing I thought of and didn't really care about it too much.

Where can I get awesome graphics like in your app?
